Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI)

The WLI creates opportunities for the women leaders in our community to come together and create a network of dynamic women who can make a significant difference in our community. WLI schedules four special events each year for members. Thru these networking events, women will have an opportunity to get better acquainted with one another, to learn about the agencies supported by their contributions, and to have a little fun.

How do I become a Member of Women's Leadership Initiative?

Any woman gifting $250 or more to the United Way Campaign will receive membership into WLI.

How will my WLI membership contribution be spent?

United Way of Mercer County funds over two dozen organizations. Your gift can go toward the general fund or you may earmark your contribution for a specific organization.

Does my WLI contribution compete with the goals of my workplace or organization?

If you already give to United Way through work or other organizations, you may still contribute through your existing United Way campaign. Any woman's contribution of $250 or more will automatically grant her membership into WLI regardless of the origin of her gift.
