Dear Interested Volunteer,

Congratulations for taking the first step in becoming a volunteer at the United Way of Mercer County!  At the United Way, volunteers are a significant part of the social service team.

 Office Volunteers: Volunteers are always needed to help in the day to day duties of the United Way office.

Allocation Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to work as part of a team to perform agency assessment program reviews of United Way affiliate agencies seeking program funding for 2007 - 08.  This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the nonprofit agencies that receive support from your United Way of Mercer County contributions and assist in the decision making process for program funding.  The total time commitment will range from 5-8 hours, beginning February through March.  A training session will be provided.  For more information please contact the United Way of Mercer County.
